The Maprox AIR chuck offers fully automated clamping, a compact design and flexible clamping options. Ideal for precise measuring tasks.
The Maprox AIR chuck combines the advantages of manual chucks with pneumatic automation. It is ideal for use in measuring machines and enables simple open-close control, for example for robot loading. Thanks to its low overall height and flexible clamping range with top and pin jaws, it offers a wide range of possible applications. The rotatable chuck can be mounted on rotary tables, and the adjustable clamping force ensures permanently repeatable clamping. In addition, the system offers options for internal and external clamping as well as different jaw materials and types.
Usage
- Chuck clamps with spring force and releases with pneumatics
- Pneumatic connection centrally on the underside
- Adjustable spring preload; slightly more clamping force
- 1x base jaw set for external clamping and 1x for internal clamping (not compatible)
- Top jaws not reversible
- 2 chuck sizes; Ø100 and 160mm
- Only in 3-jaw version
- Jaw travel 6mm
- Shank available with rotary feed-through for rotating applications
